    • Heavenly Father, we come to You with a thankful heart for Shepherd, who loves You and is desiring a boost in their walk with You, Lord. Let him (or her) not become discouraged or side-tracked by the distractions, mistakes, troubles, or heartaches that this world throws at us, but give them a renewed strength by Your Holy Spirit. We pray for a fresh and alive hunger for the Word of God, time spent in prayer with You, and joy unspeakable, that will boost their spirit and revive them not only spiritually and emotionally, but physically also. Give them guidance as they walk each day in the beautiful grace that You have provided for us through Jesus’ sacrifice. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us just the way we are and never leaving us or forsaking us. Even when we fall down, You pick us back up in Your love and mercy and give us renewed strength to keep running the race that is set before us, because You, Jesus, are worth everything. You are our Hope. Even tonight, Jesus, hold Shepherd in Your loving arms and let Your presence be felt in a profound way. Strengthen their faith and cover them under the shadow of Your wings. We pray for strength, endurance, and protection for all shepherds, that God will sustain them by His mighty Spirit and provide all their needs. This we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

  10. I am requesting prayer for this ministry and all the wonderful, committed, and caring staff that continues to give us all encouragement, God’s Word, and their never ending prayers for us. I pray that God will supply all their needs, and that He will bless each one of them and their families with abundant love, joy, and peace this Christmas, and always. May you all feel His beautiful presence wherever you go and know that He is our covering and our strength. Thank You, Father, for all the blessings You have given us. Thank You, Jesus, for being the greatest gift ever given, amen.

  11. My husband (John) of 25 years chose alcohol and a female drinking partner after 4 years of me (Liza) having a severe illness. 2 days from hospice, I received a new liver. I am so blessed and grateful. We never talked at all about the whole situation of him being my caregiver and I the patient. While I healed (resting, learning to walk, talk, read, write and get my memories -came back like a small child), he nor I knew what we needed to do. We never reconnected as the happily married couple we have always been. I love him with my whole being, although keep God 1st. I am in several healing groups. Please play for him to find the Christian Spark in his heart. We were very involved in the church for 16 years! I pray for him every day all day. I pray he finds his way home to his loving family. So devastated but growing with God throughout my days. I know he is hurting in a different way (lots of trauma, struggles in the past). Please pray steadily for him.
    In Jesus’ name. Amen

  12. Please agree with me in prayer for this: Heavenly Father, there are so many homeless people, sleeping in the streets, in a place where it’s not safe to sleep, or staying with a friend, but they don’t really have a place to belong. I ask today that You would provide for them the shelter that they need, the food, a job or income, and a place of warmth and of safety. I pray that You would send someone to each one of them to tell them how much Jesus loves them and how He died on the Cross for them to forgive them and give them eternal life so that they will be on their way to a home in Heaven , and know that they belong to a spiritual family that loves them. Give them the hope and peace that comes from Your Holy Spirit and surround them with a blanket of Your love. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, amen.

  13. Our son Nick (19) is struggling with how to manage life. He has a servants heart but stretches himself to thin and recently fell asleep at the wheel and drove into a ditch. He is ok physically but mentally he is stressed. He is struggling with lonliness of friends and so to fill his time he serves at church. He isn’t asked by the church staff to help but he sees a need and takes the proper steps to help or fix it, which the staff and other volunteers are grateful for. He has plenty of adults to hangout with, but is lacking in people his own age to hangout with. As Nick’s parents it is difficult ot watch him struggle. Thank you for praying. We trust God’s will above all else.

    • Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus, asking that you send Nick some Christian friends, or one good, faithful friend, that he can fellowship with and hang out with, and grow in the Lord with. Lord, I thank you for his servant’s heart. Give him wisdom to know which things to get involved in and which ones to let go, so that he will not be overstretched and over stressed. I thank you for protecting him. I went through the same thing, Lord, when I was a teenager. Help him to know that he is not alone, that you are always with him, and keep him strong in his faith in you Lord, ,even though many around us at times are doing their own thing. Lord, bless him and let him know how much you love him. Give him the guidance he needs and fill his heart with extra hope in you, and put extra angels around him, amen.

    • Dear Jesus, bring healing to all the hurting people, whether it be spiritual, addictions, emotional pain, broken families, broken hearts, or physical pain, touch them with your loving and healing hand, amen.

  14. Please will you pray for me as I go back to work on Monday (I am a professional violinist in a Symphony Orchestra) and play the violin in our church Christmas Carol Service on Sunday. I recently had a major operation on a femur fracture which has not healed after nearly 2 years, cleaning things up and inserting a bone graft. I have been off work for the last 4 weeks and am still in a lot of pain and on very strong painkillers. I am on crutches anyway and use a mobility scooter, but am very worried about whether I will be able to cope with going back-it is a very tiring job physically.
I would also value prayer as I have to make a decision as to whether to drive to Norwich to my family for Christmas and New Year. It is not that far by US standards but a long way for me at the moment, but I haven’t seen my family for a year. I really don’t know what to do, and also my housemate is having a very difficult time with one of her adopted children and I feel bad about leaving her on her own for a week. Any prayer gratefully received- I know God knows and I need to trust Him, but am worrying a lot about this decision!
