Prayer Requests

Thank you for sharing and participating in this important part of our ministry!

To post a new request, simply scroll down this page and enter your prayer request where it says “Share a Comment” (or “Leave a Reply” on mobile devices). This page is moderated continually, so your request will be posted on this page as soon as our moderator sees it. For confidentiality, please use first names only when mentioning other people in your requests, and also for yourself.

To pray for others, simply scroll through the requests below and pray as you feel led, or post a reply to the prayer requests of others by simply clicking “Reply” beneath each prayer request.  Please use this forum for prayer, rather than advice, as we simply and humbly do not have enough information about the people or their situations to offer advice.

To be notified by email of each new prayer request that is posted on this page (about 10-20 per day), just click the link below the comment form that says “subscribe without commenting.”  You’ll be asked for your email address on the next screen and get every prayer request (and reply) posted on this page. You can turn off these notifications at any time.

Thanks for lifting up your brothers and sisters in prayer!

  1. Please will you pray for me as I go back to work on Monday (I am a professional violinist in a Symphony Orchestra) and play the violin in our church Christmas Carol Service on Sunday. I recently had a major operation on a femur fracture which has not healed after nearly 2 years, cleaning things up and inserting a bone graft. I have been off work for the last 4 weeks and am still in a lot of pain and on very strong painkillers. I am on crutches anyway and use a mobility scooter, but am very worried about whether I will be able to cope with going back-it is a very tiring job physically.
I would also value prayer as I have to make a decision as to whether to drive to Norwich to my family for Christmas and New Year. It is not that far by US standards but a long way for me at the moment, but I haven’t seen my family for a year. I really don’t know what to do, and also my housemate is having a very difficult time with one of her adopted children and I feel bad about leaving her on her own for a week. Any prayer gratefully received- I know God knows and I need to trust Him, but am worrying a lot about this decision!
